This committee coordinates with Scholastic, sets up the books, and helps students make purchases during the school day. Pitch in a shift at the table, help with set-up, or support clean-up - whatever suits your interest! Includes extra access to that fresh, new book smell 😉

This event has food trucks, activity tables for the kids, music, and a relaxed vibe. High schoolers often volunteer to run the activity tables. Tasks include organizing volunteers and planning the event.

The Community Outreach committee provides opportunities for kids to give back to the community. Annual favorites are the food and clothing drives.

Organize events for families to enjoy together. Annual favorites are Skate with Santa and the Trenton Thunder baseball game. Other examples of fun events are family game night and the Polar Paint Party!

The 5th Grade Committee focuses on making sure our 5th graders have the best final year at Mercerville before heading off to middle school! Our 5th grade parents and family members work together to raise money throughout the year with annual fundraisers like our traditional Boo Grams, Valentine Grams and Mystery Eggs, while also welcoming new and exciting fundraisers that all go toward 5th Grade class t shirts, their final Mercerville yearbook and of course, our end of year party! If you have a 5th grader and are interested in joining this committee, please reach out to Alison Lang at AReffner@hotmail.com. We would love to have you on our committee!

This committee plans fundraisers such as the Mums Sale, Pie Sale, and various others. Members organize volunteers and execute the work that makes these events successful, such as creating and distributing forms, placing orders with local vendors, and distributing mums/pies at the school.

Let your creativity shine! Choose a theme and coordinate with the school to create a fun evening for the kids to enjoy. Tasks include creating and distributing flyers, organizing food, and decorating.

In the past this committee has given small gestures of appreciation to our teachers during this week-long celebration, which has included a breakfast to kick off the week. The week usually culminates with a raffle and luncheon for the teachers.

The committee will create sign-up forms for the Trunk or Treaters and for the Mercerville community members who want to hand out candy from their trunks. They will plan and coordinate volunteers to collect tickets and entrance fees, mind the food and games booths, schedule outdoor lighting to be provided, work with food truck vendors, as well as work with our business community partners to make the night spooktacular.
